JAMB release guidelines for 2017 UTME Registration

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB has release guidelines for the registration of 2017 UTME.

According to information obtained from the Board’s twitter handle, JAMB says it will commence registration in 2 weeks and therefore urged interested candidates to be on the watch out

It said all candidates who wish to register for this year’s UTME must have valid email address that will be used to create individual profiles on JAMBs portal.

JAMB said interested candidates should get their fingers ready as they will undergo Biometric capturing of their ten fingers during the registration,

Candidates for this year’s exam will now have the opportunity of choosing two 1st degree institutions and any two of ND, NCE or  IEI.

Other requirements and guidelines according to the information are “Candidates will also be required to get their O’Level results ready, as they will be uploading these during the registration

“There will be no sales of scratch cards for the registration. Mode of payment will be communicated to you soon.”

“Cyber caf├ęs will not be allowed to render services on behalf of JAMB. So please visit ONLY JAMB accredited Centres.”

“JAMB will provide simplified steps to ease registration to the public soon. This promises to be a seamless exercise.”

“Candidates should please request to have a personal profile created for you. DO NOT allow the centres to use their profiles for you.”

“Candidates now have the option of selecting different exam years and exam type when combining their O’Level results.”
