Death Toll Unclear, Dozens Wounded In Turkey Explosion

Several people have been killed by an explosion near a bus in Turkey’s central city of Kayseri, said security agencies.

Although the death toll was still unclear, local hospital sources told Reuters that at least 25 people were injured in the Saturday attack.

The bus was said to be carrying off-duty soldiers and was opposite a university campus when the blast occurred.

The explosion comes a week after Kurdish militants claimed a bomb attack that killed 44 people in Istanbul.

The country has suffered a series of bombings in 2016 from the Kurdish militants and the jihadists.
