Metuh Received N400m And Gave Chief Anenih N21m – Witness

Defence witness in the trial of the former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mr Olisa Metuh has told a Federal High Court in Abuja that Mr Metuh was paid 400 million Naira on the orders of a former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan.

Out of said amount, he paid former PDP Board Chairman, Mr Tony Anenih 21 million Naira for the use of a centre in Asokoro district of Abuja.
The witness, Mr. Richard Ihediwa, who is a media aide to Metuh, told Justice Okon Abang that the payment was made to Mr Anenih.

The payment was used as a rent to enable consultants, professors, economists, media experts and other experts that were hired by the accused person, use the venue as an operational office to execute media advocacy projects given to him by former President Jonathan.
